Open to ALL cancer patients, survivors, and caregivers, no matter where you are receiving treatment! This group is also co-facilitated by a cancer survivor Christian pastor who can assist those who desire spiritual inspiration.
Cancer patients, survivors and caregivers benefit from the support of others with similar cancer experiences. Our general cancer support and open discussion groups are for all men and women touched by the disease. Even though you may receive support from friends and family, joining a support group provides you with an opportunity to be with people who are likely to provide you with a profound understanding of what you are going through, because they have similar feelings, worries, everyday problems, treatment decisions, or treatment side effects.
Finding Your Balance with Energy & Sound
Karen Hedley, a massage therapist at Brevard Acupuncture and Integrative Medicine, will be sharing her knowledge of several ancient healing modalities, including Reiki energy healing, Reiki meditation, and sound healing with crystal and Tibetan bowls. Enjoy this unique demonstration of sound healing, which uses specific frequencies and harmonics to heal the body.
